Based in Taipei, Light House Productions Limited is dedicated to investing in and producing films that inspire, engage, and transcend borders. Founded by Cindy Shyu, Light House embodies her commitment to meaningful storytelling. Born in Taiwan, Cindy attended Taipei American School before studying at New York University and Georgetown University, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Driven by her passions for literature, philosophy, and photography, Cindy transitioned to a full-time career as a writer and film producer, bringing a unique blend of artistic sensitivity and global perspective to her work.

In 2003, Cindy established HK Light House Productions Ltd. in Hong Kong, where she produced The Sage Hunter in 2005. The film, based on the best-selling memoirs of a Taiwanese tribesman, offered a rare and authentic glimpse into the Taiwanese aboriginal experience and their harmonious relationship with nature.

The Sage Hunter premiered in theaters across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States, garnering significant acclaim. It won the Earth Vision Award at the Tokyo Global Environmental Film Festival (2006) and received a nomination for Best Children's Film at the Schlingel International Film Festival in Germany. The film was also celebrated at festivals in Cannes, South Korea, Canada, and the United States, cementing Light House's reputation for producing impactful, globally relevant cinema.

A visionary in her own right, Cindy has also ideated and conceptualised Demon Hunters, the first-ever Taiwan-India co-production, and is now producing Masala Boba, marking a historic first-ever Taiwan-India-Jordan collaboration.

These landmark projects reflect her commitment to creating cinematic bridges between cultures while advancing Taiwan's role as a dynamic hub for international co-productions.

Today, Light House Productions continues to champion stories that illuminate the richness of cultural differences while connecting audiences worldwide, building a legacy of cinematic works that inspire, educate, and entertain.

Ashar Khan is a finance and business development professional with a background in corporate banking and international consulting.

As a senior leader within Stratgurus Group, he has been involved in structuring cross-border partnerships, facilitating strategic investments, and supporting market entry initiatives across the healthcare, biotech, and media sectors.

Known for his practical, execution-focused approach, Ashar works closely with partners and clients to turn strategic opportunities into commercially viable outcomes.

His experience spans financial analysis, negotiations, and operational leadership across multi-country projects.

Reza has over 30 years of experience in the media industry, spanning online, print and broadcast media. His early introduction to the world of media includes his time with News International in London, working at a daily national newspaper before moving onto television production.

He established himself as an Executive Producer, making corporate films that were aired on a variety of broadcasters, such as NTV, Euronews, Star World, MBC, CNBC, CNN International, BBC World News and Al Jazeera.

After forming his own company with a core team of like-minded professionals, Reza learnt the skills required to become both a director and editor, filming on shoots across Asia Pacific, North America, the Middle East and Europe.

With the economic boom across Asia Pacific, Reza relocated to Malaysia where he created a media company to continue his corporate work in addition to exploring new opportunities for content creation. He produced and directed documentaries, produced a 13-episode television show, and Executive Produced 2 short films in the UK, one of which received an award on the film festival circuit.

After the short films, Reza moved to Dubai where he has been responsible for producing live music performances, directing music videos, documentaries and corporate films. He also manages PR accounts for clients, oversees social media strategy, and continues to embrace new opportunities within all aspects of media.

His experience as an Executive Producer, Producer, Director and Editor give him the ability to cross the different 'bridges', linking the corporate, legal, strategic and operational side of the industry.
